Do you have questions and want to know more?

Here's some frequently asked questions...

Are eyelash extensions safe?

The application is pain-free and relaxing. Many clients fall asleep during their appointment. However, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause pain and damage to your natural lashes. We recommend only booking with a trained and certified eyelash extension technician.

How long does a eyelash appointment take?

On average, a full set of eyelash extensions typically takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours to apply. Factors such as the number of lashes being applied, the client's natural lash condition, and the chosen style (whether it's a natural or more dramatic look) all contribute to the overall time required for the application process. Additionally, touch-up or refill appointments generally take less time, usually around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, as they involve adding extensions to maintain the initial fullness and address any lash shedding that occurs in the natural growth cycle.

How Long do eyelash extensions last?

Eyelash extensions typically last through a full growth cycle of natural lashes, which is around 6 to 8 weeks on average. However, individual lash extensions may shed naturally as part of the eyelash growth cycle. To maintain a consistently full look, touch-up appointments are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks. These touch-ups involve adding new extensions to replace those that have naturally shed, ensuring a continuous, lush appearance. Factors like lifestyle, proper care, and the adhesive used can also influence the longevity of eyelash extensions.

How should I prepare for my eyelash extension appointment?

Preparing for your eyelash extension appointment involves a few simple steps to ensure the best results. It's advisable to arrive with clean lashes, free from any makeup, oils, or residue. Avoid using oil-based products around the eye area before your appointment, as they can interfere with the adhesive's effectiveness. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses before the session. It's also recommended to refrain from curling your lashes on the day of the appointment. Finally, plan to relax during the application process, as it can take some time. Feel free to communicate any preferences or concerns to your technician before the procedure begins.
